In the ownership of Charité Maritime and its independent management, there are currently 238 residential complexes at 14 locations, divided into

• Belgium, Denmark, Germany,
• France, Ireland, Italy,
• Canada, Netherlands, Norway,
• Portugal, Sweden, Spain and United Kingdom.

The capacities of a residential complex vary between 46 and 176 apartments.

In addition, the apartments are in the immediate vicinity of the sea or a port, so that a maritime flair is always present.

The Charité Maritime provides two- and three-room apartments including a kitchen and bathroom, rent-free, for poor seafarers and their families, widows and orphans.

In addition, every trainee, intern and student can also take advantage of a furnished apartment of 60 square meters (2 rooms, kitchen, bathroom) free of charge.

This cross-generational living ultimately also means that there is a lively exchange of ideas together, but the resulting meetings and events are also organized, such as barbecues and/or communal gatherings with food and drink. In the park of each residential complex, the conditions for this have been created.
