The Charité Maritime has decided out of conviction to support this project accordingly, since state and church authorities and other organizations prefer to invest in third countries and trivialize child poverty in their own country and do not take action.
More than every fifth child in Germany grows up in poverty
Therefore we ask you for a donation.
So that children in families and orphanages who are not doing as well as you and us can get at least a fraction of what we take for granted.
It is quite simply the case that the children need your support.
Because you need food, clothes, a stuffed animal to comfort you at night because again there is no one to dry your tears when you cry of loneliness.
When the longing for a hug becomes so great that you feel physical pain, when you cannot understand that you are being punished for something you never did.
That awful feeling of not knowing where you belong when you think you have no place anywhere.

The tasks and goals
are now that, with your help, we secure 8,600 children and families, as well as children who live in orphanages and are in a precarious economically weak situation, e.g. with food and school support, with the implementation of health care and psychological care.

Aid must be increased
The war in Europe and the current inflation, as well as the health emergency, has aggravated the situation of families who were already in economic difficulties before the COVID 19 pandemic:
In view of this fact and the resulting new needs, aid must be increased.
For this reason, Charité Maritime is committed to the distribution of food, clothing and health kits for families.
At the same time, also to support the learning and teaching of minors who are at high risk of dropping out of school due to the pandemic.
With your donation
we will support 8,600 children and their families and orphanages in Germany.
The Charité Maritime doubles the first 154,000 euros that are raised.
