This cruise offers you close to 100 shore excursions.
On behalf of everyone, we would like to thank the Shipping Company, which again this year provided 5 cruises free of charge.
The Charité Maritime will pass these 5 cruises on to donors as a thank you.
Only those who supported one or more projects of the Charité Maritime with their donation within the year 2022 can and are eligible to participate.
In addition, the amount of the donation is not decisive. Every donation received will be considered.
At the end of each quarter, a donor is determined from donations received within a quarter using the donation ID Number, which is done under notarial supervision. The identified donor(s) will receive a free 14-day Mediterranean cruise, which can be embarked in 2022 or, if desired, in 2023.
At the end of the year, a donor will be determined again from donations received within the year 2022 using the donation ID Number, which will be done under notarial supervision. In the following year 2023, the identified donor can then embark on their trip around the world free of charge on a Shipping Company cruise ship.

The island, which impresses with over 300 days of sunshine per year, attracts visitors with enchanting beaches, charming towns and many important archaeological sites.
Heraklion (Crete) to Bodrum

Welcome to the city of fishermen and sponge divers on the Aegean! Be enchanted by Bodrum with its coastline dotted with peninsulas and bays. The cosmopolitan Turkish city at the foothills of the Taurus Mountains with the picturesque harbor is a paradise for sailors. Every year it attracts hundreds of boats and luxury yachts. Enjoy a view from the town entrance on the hillside: The numerous characteristic white houses gave Bodrum the name “The White City”. The turquoise sea shimmers between flower groves and in the old town around the harbor small bars and restaurants lure you in with Turkish specialties and fresh fish. If you are a history buff, visit the Castle of St. Peter to unveil what links it to the seven wonders of the ancient world. It is one of the most magnificent surviving Crusader castles in Europe. But what sets Bodrum apart the most is its warm climate, which makes it the ideal place for all kinds of water sports.
Cute white houses with blue windows and doors, picturesque windmills, small churches, cozy restaurants and cafes await you on the Cyclades island in the Aegean. The cosmopolitan island village of Mykonos Town invites you with its beautiful old town and the harbor to stroll through the labyrinth of narrow streets. And of course there are many bathing beaches around Mykonos, where you can forget the sights and enjoy a beautiful sunny day.
Piraeus is the historic port city in front of the Greek capital Athens and the largest passenger port in Europe. Whether the Acropolis, the Parthenon, the Tower of the Winds or the numerous historical sites – everything starts in Piraeus.
Piraeus (Athens) to Catania (Sicily)
A day at sea awaits you on board today. Find your personal favorite spot on our sun deck and enjoy the fresh sea breeze, the endless view of the ocean and the sun’s rays on your face.
Not far from Sicily’s second largest city you will find Etna, the largest and most active volcano in Europe, which has always had a say in the history of the region over the past centuries. Visit this natural spectacle! From Catania, where beautiful baroque buildings can be found, it is worth visiting the picturesque city of Taormina with its sights. And for those who like to enjoy something sweet: try Catania’s ice cream specialties.
Experience one of the most beautiful capitals in Europe. The headland of the historic fortified city will fascinate you with its baroque architecture, narrow streets, cozy terrace cafés and the impressive Grand Harbour. Stroll past the historic city wall, many buildings worth seeing, trendy bars and the historic forts. The surrounding area is also worth exploring. Visit the picturesque neighboring island of Gozo.
Valletta (Malta) to Salerno
Surrounded by atmospheric live music, let your gaze wander over the sea – enjoy our first-class entertainment on board in the cozy outdoor bars & lounges or on the pool deck. With a cocktail in hand and good company, enjoyment and relaxation come first here
From here it is worth walking through the scenically attractive nature of this region. The beautiful surrounding Amalfi Coast will delight you with its Mediterranean charm and originality. But the city of Salerno itself has a lot to offer: An enchanting old town, a magnificent cathedral, the venerable San Benedetto Monastery or the fragrant Minerva Gardens invite you to discover them on a guided city tour.
Not all roads lead to Rome, but Civitavecchia does. Because from here it goes to the “Eternal City”. Civitavecchia is the best starting point to discover the scenic beauty of the Etruscan region or the countless sights of Rome. The Colosseum, the Vatican, the Roman Forum and the Pantheon are just a few of the world-famous local sights Climb the steps of the Spanish Steps, admire the Roman Forum and the Colosseum on the panoramic drive or the offered city tour.
Welcome to wonderful Tuscany! Use the day to explore the port city of Livorno and its sights or the charming surroundings with the nearby cities of Pisa and Florence. After Livorno had suffered repeated military destruction in the past, it is thanks to the Florentine Medici family that its walls were rebuilt and that today it has one of the most important ports in Italy. The second largest town in Tuscany is now more than an idyllic fishing village and knows how to delight its visitors with beautiful promenades, such as Viale Italia lined with Art Nouveau houses, or the merchant quarter Venezia Nuova. The originally rebuilt cathedral and the gigantic square Piazza della Repubblica in the east also characterize the image of the city. The impressive arcaded street Via Grande invites you to shop and stroll. Enjoy the Italian way of life – we hope you enjoy it!
Villefranche-sur-Mer has become the meeting place for numerous pop stars in recent years. Its pastel colored villas are tucked away on the steep slopes of the beautiful Mediterranean Provençal bay. Enjoy the spectacular view of the coast and the surrounding mountains, wander through the old town streets or visit Nice or Monaco from here. And please don’t be surprised if you suddenly bump into Elton John while out for a walk.
Villefranche to Palma (Majorca)
Lean back and relax in one of our bars & lounges and enjoy the unique atmosphere on the high seas during your last day at sea. Whether you experience the sunrise with a cappuccino, toast together with a freshly tapped beer, marvel at the diverse cocktail menu or have a small aperitif with a view of the sea – this is how you can let yourself drift on a day at sea.
The city of Palma de Mallorca is located in the southwest of the island and, with 400,000 inhabitants, has more than half of the total population of Mallorca. The capital of the Balearic Islands stretches along the beautiful bay of Palma. Discover Palma with its old town or the enchanting Valdemossa on a guided shore excursion. Mallorca is definitely worth a visit – maybe you’ll come back sometime.
