- People with mental disabilities.
- People with multiple disabilities.
At the beginning of February 2024, work began on the restoration and additional modifications for disabled people to the traditional sailing ship for the “Sailing for People with Disabilities” project.
The restoration costs, including additional modifications for disabled people, currently amount to 1.286.000,00 euros. EU funding secured 26% of the costs. Charité Maritime contributed another 50%. Thanks to our fundraising appeals, a further 23.4% of the restoration costs were covered through donations.
We would also like to thank the donors who have enabled us to continue the project, as well as all those who volunteer their time and effort.
7.716,00 euros are currently still urgently needed
in order to complete this project, so that we can then start the first sailing trips from Marseille as planned in November 2025.
Help us raise the remaining 7.716,00 euros by donating today.
A big thank you to everyone who supports this project, “Sailing for People with Disabilities”, with a donation.
The first sailing trips from Marseille (France) are planned for November 2025.
